We love Mama Africa even with all her problems. Hence we protect her to death. She raised us up in this struggle and we have survived it and still survive in these hard times. She taught us to be strong and fearless and to face whatever the obstacle that comes our way. We were once colonized and that we settled the way we know how. After solving that problem, we now face poverty and diseases.
Poverty and these many diseases, we did not have thousands of moons ago, and has made our ancestors shake in their graves awakening many spirits. It has been sleepless in the spirit land and Africa as a whole causing a lot of discomfort both ways. The spirits whisper though and keep me bothered in my sleep as all I hear is,
"....my children, knowledge and skill is what you need to solve these many problems. These many problems that we did not know about could only be solved by those who know about it. These many problems that plague us have to be analysed differently. These many problems we did not have, so we cannot help you, little ones..."
"...We left you combat skills though, we could not leave you with skills that we know nothing about. Though our strategies are our strategies. It worked for us, it cannot fail for you... Re mobilise your units. Change the foci. We are strong in spirit and we taught you to be strong at heart; nothing is impossible...didn't we build the pyramids...weren't we skilled craftsmen...and brave warriors... we were once scholars. You now know each other, your ancestors have sat down. You have met each other in the many universities across the world. We fought each other but does not mean you have to. Your Mother is sick and you cannot let her die..."
"...Blow the horns and let the others know that the only way to solve this, is of course the way we know how. You know how, we built it in you. Give your mother life. Let the drums let her know that her young ones still fight for her. We cannot rest. You have awoken us...put us back to rest... "
